Match Report 29th November 2015

Rileys Bar League Cup
Syston Rangers played East Goscote Roofing in this round of the Rileys cup. Unfortunately for Syston, East Goscote scrapped through with 3 goals to 2. Syston goal scorers were Steve Mitchell and Christopher Shaw.
Monsell Club Wasps travelled to Anstey to face the Swifts in the hope of making it through to the next round of the Rileys Cup. Anstey Swifts were not the ones to underestimate as they banged in 4 goals leaving the Wasps battling to score more. The final whistle saw Anstey win 4-1 and go through top the next leg of the cup. It was Joe Hartopp, Jake Rouse, and Nathan Dale who netted 2, to send their team through. Monsell Wasps goal scorer was Derek Brackenridge.
The last game in the Rileys Cup was Lines Keogh United who faced Spinney Rovers. Both teams fighting for a place in the next round and it was Spinney who stole the win 3-2. Goal scorers for Spinney were Maccauley Bott, Glenn Bugby-Carrington and Liam Hardy. LK�s goal scorers Leon Coleman and their substitute Dave Brakes.
Hardings Transport Chairmans Cup
Verdon Athletic took on Brookside in this battle for the next round. Brookside were on fire scoring 10 goals making it tough for Verdon to compensate. Final whistle Verdon Athletic 2 Brookside 10. It was Luke McManus who netted both for Verdon. For Brookside we saw Denon Talbot score a hat-trick, Ryan Carter, Nick Lunn and Matt Cropper grabbing 2 each with Shane Babbington adding to the score.
In this game Fc Fosse played Western Park Rangers for a spot in the running for the cup. But both teams showed their strengths with none backing down ending the game 3-3. Western Parks goal scorers were Joshua Mills 2 and Samuel Jayes.
Blue Whale Logistics Presidents Cup
Palmerstone Athletic faced District this Sunday in the Blue Whale Logistics Presidents Cup. With both teams wanting the win Palmerstone pushed through and snatched the win with 8 goals to Districts 3. For District Nathan Charles notched 1 and Monz Beckford claimed 2. Palmerstones goal scorers were Andy Burbidge, Andrew Culver and Zak Ginvert netting 2 each with Nathan Boyes and Nathan Dickens making it 8.
Another Draw this Sunday for Forest Park and Leicester Bharat. Both teams wanting the win and playing with their best ending the game 3-3. Goal scorers for Forest Park Jack Farmer, Curtis Hemmings and Rhys Kimberley.
Premier Division
Frolesworth United won again this Sunday, this time in the Premier division against St Matthews Dynamo. It was 2-2 at half time giving both teams an advantage for the second half. Both teams scored but it was Frolesworth who added the extra goal to make it 5-3. Dynamos goal scorers Pearson Mwanyongo 2, Suleinan Nassor. Frolseworths goal scorers were Barnes Gladman 2, Alex Rhodes 2 and Callum Wills.
Division 1
Fc Britannia had another fantastic game this week continuing their winning streak. They beat Buddha 10 nil in the league game sending them top in their division with a 26 goal difference. Buddha�s goal scorer Ryan Walker. Brittania�s Ashley Harris and Anthony Ward notched in 3 each with Ricky Ludlam and Simon Moore netting 2.
Division 2
Park Rise went head to head with Ratby Sports Sunday. A great game played by both teams. Ratby upped their game after their loss against Park Rise previously but Park Rise triumphed beating them 5-4. Ratby�s Goal scorers were Craig Staples with a hat-trick and their substitute Aaron Barot. It was Jordan Cufflin-Stableford netting 2 and Simeon Brant, Matthew storr and Ashley Wright claiming a goal each.
Fleckney Athletic faced Monsell Club Wasps Reserves in this league game. Monsell Res won the game 4-2. Fleckney came out stronger in the second half after half time score being 4-0. They netted 2 goals and kept the game strong for Monsell. Goal scorers for Fleckney Stefan Kerr and Ben Whitmore. For Monsell it was brothers Ricky and Grant Borszowski (2) and Jamie Bloxham.
Another great League game for divison 2. AJ played DYP with a fantastic outcome for AJ winning a staggering 8 goals to 1. Half time score was 2-1 but it was clear who the stronger team were on the day. DYP goal scorer was Ashley Harvey. Chris Shufflebotham bagged a hat-trick, Jason Dixon and Dylan Beadman netting 2 and notching one in to make it 8 was William Wilkinson.
