Match Report 22nd November 2015

Division 1
FC Brittannia stole another 3 points against Palmerston Athletic with a triumphant 12-3 score, edging themselves further towards the Premier Division. Palmerstons goal scorers were Andrew Culver who 2 and Zak Ginvert netting the last. For Britannia Ashley Harris and Ricky Ludlam bagged 4 each, Earl Murray 2, Simon Moore and sub Lewis Mayers claiming a goal each.
Division 2
Western Park Rangers were 2 nil down at half time against Park Rise with Simeon Brant and Ashley Wright netting. Second half saw Western Park bring the fight back in a fantastic battle ending the game 2-2. Philip Henderson and Samuel Jayes striking the target.
Monsell Club Wasps Reserves thrashed DYP in this league match with a staggering 12 goals to 2. It was a quadruple for Ricky Borszowski, Scott Lyons checked in with a hat-trick, Ben Wills and Jamie Bloxham netted a double and an input from Grant Borszowski.
FC Fosse beat Fleckney Athletic 6-3 gaining 3 points. Fleckneys goal scorers Luke Wheatley 2 and Ben Whitmore. Commiserations to the losing team.
Last game in Div 2 saw Anstey Sports Bar face Ratby Sports Sunday. It was Anstey Sports who gave a clean sheet with 9 goals to nil. James Hicks with a hat-trick, Declan Sutton and Substitute Joe Hartopp netted 2, leaving Bradley Cockerill-Mollett and Jake Rouse to add to the win.
Hardings Transport Chairmans Cup
In this round of the Hardings Cup we saw AJ go head to head with Verdon Athletic at home. Both teams put in a great effort but Verdon shone through stealing the win for the next round with 3 goals to 2. Their goal scorers were Joe Garratt and Zachary Halfpenny bagging 2. Jay Dixon and Gary Warren scoring for AJ.
Blue Whale Logistics presidents Cup
Syston Rangers triumphed in this round of the cup beating Keepers Lodge 5-1 sending them through to the next round om a high. Keepers goal scorer was Luke Holyoake. Ford Taylor, Sam Hill, Sean Warrilow, Mitch Donnelly and Bobby Large all notched in for Syston.
Leicester Bharat took on LK United and unluckily lost the round with scoring just 1 goal. LK were on top form scoring 4 goals keeping them in the running for the cup. LKs goal scorers were Nathan Earle, Dave Brakes, Bradley Terrell and Rory Molloy.
Another close game for District and Spinney Rovers with a total of 6 goals. However, Spinney managed to notch in 4 goals leaving district with 2. Dean Wilson hit a hat-trick and Christopher Bownes notched in the 4th. District 2 Spinney 4.
Champions League
Frolesworth United beat Sporting Dynamo 5 -2 with goals from Barnes Gladman 2, Dom Ivens, Callum Wills and Andy Morris.
A big well done to Frolesworth again for their consistant efforts in yet another win.
St Matthews Dynamo hit back after half-time to secure a point in a 1-1 draw against Quorn Royals with Luay Bashir scoring the Dynamo goal.
