Match Report 30th March 2016

Blue Whale Logistics Presidents Cup
Syston Rangers played Lines Keogh United in this round of the Presidents Cup. Lk came out on top but only just, thanks to their goal scorers Leon Coleman, Danny Concannon and Rory Molly.  Unfortunately Syston don't go through to the next round. Their goal scorer was Steven Mitchell who grabbed both. The final score Syston 2 LK 3.

Division 1
Leicester Bharat faced Palmerston at home for their mid week league game to claim 3 points, and that they did, Connor Murch was on fire yet again and netted a triumphant 4 goals for Bharat. Half time score was  1-1. Palmerston played well keeping the score only a goals difference, their goal scorers were Zak Ginvert, Harry Turner and Craig Winnett. End score Bharat 4 Palmerston 3.

Keepers Lodge also played their mid week game at home against Ballpark Nirvana. The score ended in a draw with both teams scoring 3 goals each. Keepers goal scorers were Joseph Griffin, Darren Wheeler and Dean Wilmot. For Ballpark it was Azan Ghanchi and Jake Tomlinson.

Match Report 27th March 2016

Riley's Bar League Cup

Spinney rovers faced creation builders in the league cup for a spot in the final. Great efforts shown from Spinney with goals from Andy Bray and Nathan Matthews. But Creation pushed a bit more scoring 4 goals all thanks too Jake Abbott, Domonic Envis, Joe Issitt and Scott Turner. End result Spinney 2 Creation 4. Creation sail through to the final of the League Cup.

Hardings Transport Chairmans Cup


Western park and Park Rise played each other in the semi final of the Chairmans Cup. Both teams were strong and fought till the end. Park Rise scored two goals that were unfortunately offside. But it was Western Park that scored the winning goal thanks to Joshua Mills. Western Park go through to the final against Anstey sports. A great game between 2 teams. Park Rise 0 Western Park 1.

Division 2


Ratby Sports played Brookside in the league this Sunday. Brookside claimed the wanted 3 points with goals from Matt Cropper, Nick Fawlkes and Nick Lunn. Ratby 1 Brookside 3.

Monsell Club Wasps Reserves played Fc Fosse and were on point for the win. Ricky Borszowski netted 2, Hayden Hawes, Aaron March and Ben Wells scored adding to the tally. Unfortunately Fosse failed to score. FC Fosse 0 Monsell 5.

Anstey sports scored a fantastic 7 goals to DYP's 1. DYP showed great efforts in the game and never lost spirit. Ryan Brown netted for DYP. For Anstey Sports it was Bradley Cockerill-Mollett, Zak Harris. Matthew Nethercote and Warren York banged in 2 each.

Division 1

Forest Park were another team this Sunday that failed to score in their game against Leicester Bharat. Connor Murch for Bharat seems to be on fire with his constant goal scoring, another 4 goals from the youngster adding more to his tally. He has scored 10 in his last 3 games and 15 in the last 5. Scott Gallacher scored 2 and Shane Hulme added to their score. Forest Park 0 Leicester Bharat 9.

FC Britannia played Lines Keogh United and beat them 6-2. With goals from Lewis Mayers, Earl Murray with 2 and Anthony Ward scoring a hat-trick. For LK Danny Concannon and Leon Dixon showed effort.

Last game this Sunday and in division 1 was between Ball Park Nirvana and Keepers Lodge. Jake Tomlinson scored Ball Parks 4 goals before being shown the red. Keepers Lodge played to the advantage scoring 6 goals thanks to Darren Wheeler with a hat-trick, Lee McNairn netting 2 and Joseph Griffin adding.

Match Report 20th March 2016

Riley's Bar League Cup

Anstey sports played Syston Rangers this Sunday in the league cup. Both teams wanting to win but it was Anstey that came out in too scoring 3 goals to nil. Unlucky game for Syston. Nathan Dale netted 2 and Warren York made 3.

Hardings Transport Chairmans Cup

The only game in this round of the Chairmans cup saw Western Park Rangers beat Ratby Sports Sunday 5-0. A great Hat-trick from Samuel Jayes, also adding was Philip Henderson and Joshua Mills.

Blue Whale Logistics Presidents Cup

A close game in the presidents cup between Keepers Lodge and Lines Keogh United with a goals difference ending the game 3-2. It was Keepers Lodge that managed to score the one extra goal thanks to Darren Wheeler and substitute Matthew Copson. An unlucky effort from Leon Coleman scoring both goals for LK. Keepers Lodge 3 LK 2.

Division 2


In division 2 this Sunday Verdon Athletic faced Fleckney Athletic for the 3 points. Verdon were the lucky team scoring 5 goals against Fleckney's 3. Like Garrat and Zacharay Halfpenny knocked in 2 each with Joe Garrat scoring the 5th. Brothers Nathan and Stefan Kear and Luke Wheatley added for Fleckney.

The second game in this division was against FC Fosse and Park Rise. A very tough game for both teams but it was Park Rise that scored the extra goal. Rocky Greenwood for Fosse and Simeon Brant for Park Rise made the game 1-1 but after a change around Park Rise new player Luke Higgins came on and scored just in time. FC Fosse 1 Park Rise 2.

DYP played AJ in the hopes of claiming 3 points but unfortunately for DYP, AJ were on top form. Keran Bedder and Ryan Brown scored for DYP. Dylan Beadman banged in a hat-trick for AJ allowing Jake Stanton, Conor Woolman and Jason Dixon to add to their score. DYP 2 AJ 6.

Last in division 2 was Brookside against Monsell Club Wasps Reserves and again another tough game for both teams. It was Monsell that claimed the 3 points for their team. End result Brookside 1 Monsell Club Wasps Reserves 2. Brooksides goal scorer Nick Lunn. Ricky Borszowski and Aaron March for Monsell.

Division 1

FC Britannia beat Spinney Rovers 3-1 this Sunday thanks to Ricky Ludlam and Lewis Mayers. An unlucky loss for Spinney and their goal scorer Maccauley Bott. FC Britannia take the 3 points.

Palmerston Athletic faced Leicester Bharat in this league game. With another great performance from Britannia's Connor Murch who scored 2 more goals adding to his rising tally. Scott Gallacher also netted for Britannia. Goal scorers for Palmerston were Andrew Culver and Samuel Jayes. Palmerston 2 Britannia 3.

Last game in division 1 saw Buddha face BallPark Nirvana to claim 3 points for the race to finish higher in the division. This Sunday it was Buddha that claimed the win. Joe Butcher-Smith smashed in 4 leaving Kyran Welcox to score. For BallPark Ibrahim Kasuji, Darren Liburd and Jake Tomlinson made it 3. End result Buddha 5 BallPark 3.

Match Report 13th March 2016

Premier Division

East Goscote Roofing played Frolesworth United this Sunday in the premier league but failed to claim the 3 points. Frolesworth stole the match with 8 goals to Goscote's 2. Goals from Alex Rhodes, Barnes Gladman and Sam Young with Callum Wills knocking in 4. East Goscote 2 Frolesworth 8.

Division 1

Ball Park Nirvana faced Buddha at home, however were reluctant to score. Buddha played a good game and clearly were the stronger team. Efforts from Joe Butcher-Smith who smashed 4, Andy McKay and Ryan Walker who netted. Ball Park 0 Buddha 6.

Forest Park and Lines Keogh United went head to head for points in the league. Luckily for LK they managed to keep Forest Park from scoring, focusing hard on their 12 goals thanks to Leon Coleman who netted 4, Mark Foster with a hat-trick, Leon Dixon scored 2, leaving room for Nathan Earle, Rory Molly Richard Peachy and Danny Rai to add. 

Leicester Bharat played Spinney Rovers away this Sunday and thanks to Connor Murch Bharat stole 3 points. Scoring  a perfect hat-trick and then a fourth with 2 left foots, 1 right and a cracking header, Connor added to his scoring tally making this 7 in his last three games. Unluckily for Spinney it wasn't their day. Andy Bray scored Spinney's only goal. Game ending Spinney Rovers 1 Leicester Bharat 4.

Division 2

AJ beat Verdon Athletic this Sunday. AJ's Jason Dixon smashed in 2 goals allowing Dylan Beadman to steal a goal for the win. Another unfortunate week for Verdon but a closer game for the team, who played a great game with only a goals difference to determine the win. Joe Garatt and Vinay Parmar added for Verdon. AJ 3 Verdon Athletic 2.

FC Fosse and Brookside faced each other this Sunday in this league game. FC Fosse played the best on the day claiming three more points for the table. Brooksides goal scorers Ryan Carter, Joseph Ferguson, Nick Lunn and Ollie Smith. For Fosse Darren Candy who scored a hat-trick, Matthew Riley who netted 2 and Luke Greenwood added. Brookside 4 FC Fosse 6.

Fleckney Atheltic played Ratby Sports Sunday with result ending in a draw. Both teams played the best they could. Jack Crisp and Marcus Fretter netted for Ratby sports. End result 2-2.

Monsell Club Wasps Res played Park Rise at home this Sunday. Both teams played with the intentions of winning and the game remained 0-0 until Jordan Cufflin-Stableford   Scored for Park Rise. A great game played although Wasps failed to score. Game ended Monsell Club Wasps Res 0 Park Rise 1.

Western Park Rangers and DYP faced each other in the last of the division 2 games. Half time saw Western Park winning 2 nil. Even though DYP scored 2 in the second half it wasn't enough with Western Park also scoring 2 more. Jono Burrows, Philip Henderson, Samuel Jayes and Joshua Mills all netted for Western Park. Lewis Barratt and Ryan Brown added for DYP. Western Park 4 DYP 2.

Blue Whale Logistics Presidents Cup

Keepers Lodge and Syston Rangers played each other in this cup round. Keepers Lodge were the ones who claimed the win scoring 2 goals to Syston's none. Darren Wheeler and Dean Wilmot netted for Keepers Lodge.

Griffin Cup

FC Britannia beat Plamerston Athletic in this  round of the Griffin Cup. A total of 8 goals were scored in this game and 7 were claimed by Britannia. Half time Britannia were 4 goals up and they continued to score more in the remainder of the game. Harry Turner scored Palmerstons only goal. Scott Barr, Ricky Ludlam and Anthony Ward scored a goal each leaving Ashley Harris to net 4. 

Riley's Bar League Cup

Creation builders and IQRA played each other in this round of the Riley's league Cup. Creation Builders smashed IQRA 8-2.
